The Authentic Boys work and experiment with images and themes, which are derived from everyday life. With their work they playfully illuminate the fictitious layers of reality and the authentic moments in the theater, surrounding us.
During the International Film Festival Rotterdam the Authentic Boys install a composition of five video works in which they connect film and video-art with physical acts and performance.
The collective Authentic Boys was founded in Altay (Siberia) in 2007 and consists of Aaike Stuart (Rotterdam), Boris van Hoof (Rotterdam), Gregory Stauffer (Geneva) and Johannes Dullin (Berlin). Hanging out in time and space was previously shown in Berlin, Locarno, Oslo and Stavanger.
